The 17-year-old Pays d'Auge Calvados was treated to a finish in casks that previously held rum from Trinidad and Tobago's revered Caroni distillery. A powerful and robust Calvados was selected, to ensure it could hold up to the aromatic intensity of the Caroni casks and after eight months, it had reached the perfect time for bottling.
