Another very fine, and very old calvados from Adrien Camut. This is a rich, aromatic spirit with oodles of complexity, as you might expect from a calvados composed of spirit aged for between 35 and 50 years.
Rich apple aromas with soft spice notes.
Toffee apple start with an incredibly soft mouth feel.
Rolls gently off your tongue as softly as it arrived leaving caramel and clove notes, through the rich apple overtones.
Everything a calvados should be and extremely moreish.
This is absolutely beautiful. Worth the price tag.
