Slightly disappointed

Following a recent holiday on Paxos, i purchased a litre bottle of regular 12 star Metaxa. It didn't last very long, as i have 2 younger brothers who enjoyed it as much as i do. My local Waitrose had a promotion on the Zeus edition which i snapped up with a view to tasting the difference. Although it is still an excellent Greek brandy, it would appear the liquid is identical to the regular 12 star. Left me feeling somehow cheated. It's a beautiful designed bottle, but it's the contents that determines the level of enjoyment. Will stick to the regular 12 star in future.

The bottle in itself is stunning, I bought this as a gift for my husband because of the bottle and the fact that it is 12 star Metaxa brandy.

Metaxa Zeus Edition 12 stars.

I bought the Metaxa Zeus Edition 12 stars for my dad as a Christmas present. He is really enjoying the Brandy. Very easy to drink. Very smooth. My dad would certainly recommend it. Also items come extremely fast.
