Two casks from the founding Carlos I Solera have been emptied to create this release (an unprecedented occurrence!), and blended with a selection of distillates from master blender Ignacio Lozano's private reserves. Such an extraordinary release deserves an equally zazzy bottle, and Carlos I 130 Aniversario definitely has that too, while still echoing the distinctive bottle shape from the rest of the range.
Dense prune and plum doused in old sherry, alongside some vibrant red berry and citrus zestiness. Toasted oak warmth develops, introducing aromatic notes of five-spice and caraway. Creamy vanilla lasts.
