The concept of the ‘Vintage Cocktail’ range is simple – you get all the ingredients for a superb cocktail pre-mixed, all you have to do is pour it over ice, stir, then strain off into your glass and garnish (in this instance with a lemon twist). Each bottle carries a stamp showing its year of manufacture.
Clean lemon and clementine opens it up, leading into sweetly perfumed lavender. A touch of brioche appears before a compact kick of spices comes along (think white pepper and cardamom).
Fresh red berries, more lemon in the background becoming dryer as it develops. Still clean and elegant, with a lingering hint of rye bread.
Refreshingly dry finish, with light vanilla teasing you to take another sip.
A satisfying Martini all the way through.
