Myatt's Fields Cocktails Dempsey
Myatt's Fields Cocktails has bottled up a lesser-spotted serve, the Dempsey, first created in 1921 in honour of pro boxer Jack Dempsey’s title defence against Georges Carpentier. Dempsey then opened up his own restaurant where it became the signature cocktail. Anyway, enough history, let's get onto the drink! It's a blend of gin, Calvados, absinthe, and grenadine, and this particular edition has been aged for six weeks before being bottled at 40% ABV.

Both tart and sweet, with pomegranate, juniper, and syrupy apple, alongside a burst of aniseed.
