We’re incredibly sorry to drop this on you just before Christmas, but we have to temporarily stop shipping to most EU countries.
As of today, the only places we can ship to inside the EU are the UK, Belgium and Denmark.
We expect to bring most of the other countries back online within the next few months (expect one or two each month).
We’re (obviously) totally gutted about this – giving all of you across the globe access to the world’s largest library of drinks is what we’re here for, and having to stop shipping to any countries, particularly at this time of year, is a bitter, bitter, blow. We feel awful about letting you down.
So what on earth happened?
Alas this is one of those times where we can’t go into that much detail, but suffice to say there’s a whole load of complexity around shipping things internationally, especially when those things are whisky and gin.
We’re working hard on this, and we promise each country will be back online as soon as humanly possible (if not slightly sooner).

I don’t understand the situation for France I systematically order from its English sites, and even the whiskey directly from the Laphroiag distillery website… you are the only ones with this kind of problem

So it’s now November, 2021. You sure are really unprofessional if you couldn’t solve these shipping issues in almost 2 years time. I’m afraid this has cost you most of your international business, especially as there are multiple other UK based companies that have no shipping issues at all.
Heck, even distilleries ship to EU countries.

What I totally not understand what the difference is between Belgium/Denmark and the rest of the EU? There should be no difference from anywhere outside the EU to ship to. If it works for Belgium it should work for Germany as well. Especially more the a year after delivery stop.

It’s been over a YEAR now and Sweden is still not being able to order. And when your local retailers can’t/won’t take in certain drinks you’re stuck woth the least boring stuff but nothing new.

I have honestly no clue about the (former) portion of your sales to European countries, I’m guessing, though, that it wasn’t negligible… However it’s a bit mind puzzling to me, and apparently many other customers, that a company like yours has so much trouble finding a solution when so many others did.
Well, I guess it’s a problem for you most of all, so sorry about that, but it kind of feels like almost a year and a half after this unexpected restriction came into existence, some kind of explanation is due to your customers. The more you wait, the more annoyed they will get…

I’m so sorry that we are still unable to ship to Croatia. We are working hard on a solution and I can assure you that we did not take our decision to stop shipping lightly. It’s unlikely that we will resume shipping in time for Christmas 2020. I’m sorry for any disappointment caused.

Hi Petra, sadly there is still a hold on shipping to the EU, but we are working on ways to re-open these markets as soon as possible. However as things stand we cannot ship to the Czech Republic as much as we’d like to.

Hello it is totally absurd while the whole world depends on delivery even internationally you cut deliveries to EU like you were helping fight Covid. No explanation no plans no respect or consideration for customers. The main delivery companies know how to so the delivery you just give the package for them are you reinventing the wheel? This is frustrating now going on the whole year this nonsense without explanation shame on you Master of Malt!!!!!! I cannot count on how many deals I lost!!!! Ridiculous attitude towards your clients unacceptable stance!!!!!

Hello, we understand your frustration around our temporary shipping pause, we feel it too. Our best laid plans to bring these countries online are still underway, albeit with a few unforeseen delays. We’ve been quietly working to re-open these markets, but as we said in the blog, shipping internationally has a whole load of complexity, we still promise to be back online as soon as humanly possible.

Is there a chance to receive a delivery from MoM in 2020. So sad, your offer was great an we periodically ordered Gin for our collection.

For everybody who’s reading this:
In the meantime, you can always use a service like forward2me (or anything similar, there are several).
You get a UK address to have your stuff delivered inside the UK.
Then they’ll ship the package to you.

If you expect to only have 1-2 countries back online every month, does that mean you have to come to some sort of arrangement with each country individually?
