Perhaps more commonly known for bringing a cooling balance to Cantonese dishes, here Bittermens blends winter melon with cucumber and nine additional botanicals to bring balance and a welcome lift to gin-based cocktails. Come to think of it, it will work with most cocktails that use clear spirits, so have at it.

Fleshy, sweet pears blend with pink grapefruit bitter and a tart, citrus edge. A sour backdrop finishes a refined, but understated fruity complexion.
