These chipotle bitters are made with delicious smoke-dried jalapeño peppers, gentian root and specially selected spirit. The yummy, highly-desirable flavours gained through rapid-maceration are then preserved by using centrifugal extraction in place of filtration or flocculation. Science.

    Not good enough

    Unfortunately there is very little smoke, and only a bit of heat from these bitters. Adding 5 ml to 25 ml of Havana 7 you can just get the bite of heat, but none of the signature chipotle smoke at all. Real shame.

    Have also tried the ginger and the juniper which are both much better.
