Kweichow Maotaizhen 9 Year Old Baijiu Reviews

Enjoyable introduction to Baijiu
My first Baijiu so very new to the drink but I really enjoyed this (although probably not enough to buy a full bottle at £165 - I tried a sample).

On the nose I got spiced pear, floral notes, some malty/grain aromas and a hint of white chocolate.

Initially sweet on the palate with an almost neutral taste at first, developing more savoury grain notes and spiced pear on the finish with a touch of creaminess.

Full bodied and very smooth. Enjoyed at room temp.

Apparently classed as 'sauce' fragrance for anyone who understands the relevance (I certainly don't)
