HKB Hong Kong Baijiu 70cl

Baijiu may be a spirit you've never heard of, but it's also the best-selling spirit in the world! Almost all of those sales are within its native China, but here we have a product that bridges the gap, being partly produced in Italy! Using five different grains (rice, sticky rice, corn, wheat and sorghum), some of which have been allowed to collect yeast in advance, fermentation takes place in traditional mud pits. Both fermentation and the first distillation take place in a solid state. Prior to bottling a second distillation then takes place at a grappa producer in Italy.
