Let's take things back to the year 2000, everyone was happy that the Millennium bug turned out not to be a thing, Irish boybands were all the rage, and excellent films like M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable were hitting the big screen! Whilst all this excitement was going on, the folks at Château de Léberon were busy working with the 2000 grape harvest, to produce this splendid single vintage Armagnac. After a generous maturation (Léberon allow their Armagnacs to mature for at least 20 years), this was bottled up at a hearty cask strength of 46.% ABV.
Sweet stone fruits and tangy grapes with rich wafts of vanilla. Plenty of bold, resinous oak brings a dry, nutty character with sweet baking spice warmth.
