Gensac 10 Year Old is produced at Château de Gensac, a stunning castle the resides in southwest France. This expression was aged for a whole decade in French oak, before being bottled at 40% ABV and presented in a simple though rather striking bottle. It's delicate and fruity, and would do well with rich, chocolatey desserts.
A good pinch of tobacco, stewed autumnal fruits, namely plums, with a rich and oily nutty undertone.

This is off the scale, dark complex, the tasting notes are bang on. A sipper with a cigar! Next is the 15YO I’ve seen is available!
