An elegant 1970 vintage from renowned producer Baron de Sigognac. The story of Baron de Sigognac is fantastic. The legend goes that Baron de Sigognac was obsessed with time and the way his Armagnac aged. He took all of the clocks from his cellars and had them altered so they had ten divisions rather than twelve. The big hand mixed once in a decade and the hour hand, once a century. Eventually he began to only trust his palate when discerning age, so he left the clocks unwound and he only bottled an Armagnac when he believed it tasted ready.
