A 700ml bottling of stunning 1986 vintage Bas Armagnac from Baron de Sigognac. A superb vintage brandy which goes brilliantly with a cigar or dark chocolate at the end of a meal.
Intense and rich with notes of golden syrup, prunes, plum wine, prune candy (mmm prune candy) and parmaviolets - very floral indeed!
Rounded and warming, with puckering notes of dates, sultanas and pear cider, some black pepper, truffle oil and prune appear too.
Long and zesty, lots of those truffle-y umami notes on the tail.
