Born from a desire to bring the Scandinavian spirit of Aquavit to the world, Nuet Dry Aquavit features traditional elements (like a potato-based spirit, and plenty of caraway) alongside some more non-traditional ingredients, like grapefruit peel, blackcurrant and blackcurrant leaves. A wonderful blend of the familiar and unfamiliar, it works well as the base for all sorts of cocktails, and even simply served with tonic water.
A creamy spirit carrying warming caraway with a hint of liquorice sweetness, followed by a refreshing splash of citrus peels and berries. Slightly peppery on the finish.
Was taken aback by how enjoyable this drink tasted. First tried it on a trip to Oslo and was impressed with how smooth it was. Happy to come back to London and find it available for what I think is a well valued price.
Great product, unlike any aquavit or gin I've tasted before. Serves as a great gin substitute, really elevates a traditionally gin-based drink. Premium product, worth the price.
Lovely Aquavit with a refreshing taste. This aquavit never stop to surprice me in cocktails with the smooth flavour working as a perfect gin substitute. All-in-All 5 stars!
