A well-aged whisky is fine, rare thing. A long ageing in oak can bring great maturity and finesse. We have some beautifully aged 30 year old whiskies. Whiskies of this age have had plenty of oak contact, and thus often proffer a great refinement. These are truly connoisseur's whiskies. Why not sample one of our blended malt whiskies. These are all very well-aged for blended malts, and a long time in the cask has proffered great maturity. If one wishes, one can compare this with other whiskies of the same age (tasting horizontally) or comparing it with older or younger bottlings (tasting vertically).
