This absinthe from Jade Liqueurs is a rather intriguing expression, made with a selection of botanicals which include a species of wormwood harvested from the foothills of the Alps. It is then treated to a hot oxygenation process (which was thought to make it a more hygienic spirit when it was used historically - now it is just used to lend some unique character to the drink), and then rested for an average of three years before being bottled at an eye-watering 68% ABV.

A very nice absinthe which does not disapoint but the price is a little high for me to buy this often.
