Created by the superb Jade company this is a classic absinthe based on a 1901 recipe which was used by the famous Pernod Fils distillery based in Saumur, France.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh flowers and hints of wormwood. Star anise is ripe and intense. Quite herbal with perhaps a hint of peppermint too. Very earthy.
Palate
Creamy, thick palate entry with wormwood and fennel to the fore. Hints of aniseed and allspice. Dried flowers and a little sweetness.
Finish
Crisp, minty finish with spices on the tail.
