A Verte Suisse absinthe based on a recipe that was distilled by CF Berge in the 19th century prior to the Absinthe ban. This is a full-bodied spirit distilled by Jade. Neat packaging too!
Aromatic with notes of fresh flowers, aniseed, fennel fronds and spice.
Spiced and herbal with fennel, anise and hints of wormwood.
Long, herbal finish.

Pretty similar to the Jade 1901, but with less caramel-like sweetness and more herb on the nose. Also noticeable is the distinct Swiss absinthe-esque flavor. Very subtle, but it's there. Overall a very satisfying and refreshing drink. Highly recommended.
