Description

This is the 21st edition in Woodford Reserve's annual Master's Collection, allowing the team to explore unique mash bills and cask finishes. This is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged fully in chinkapin white oak (a different variety than you'll find your regular Woodford Reserve hanging out in), transforming the spirit with intriguing layers of sweetness, chocolate, and spice, and bottled at a hearty 55.2% ABV.

Nose

Brown sugar sweetness, charred oak, soft caramel, a touch of cinnamon.

Palate

Warming, sweet spice meets dense, dried fruit sweetness with waves of chocolate and vanilla riding through.

Finish

Drying, leathery oak, cocoa, rye spice, and herbal honey, with more vanilla and chocolate caramel to finish.

Bourbon
