Winner of 3 awardsWoodford Reserve's Kentucky Straight Rye whiskey has made it to our shores! Produced using a mash-bill of 53% rye, this rye shows off its spice up front and balances it well with notes of fresh fruit (think pear and cherry), chopped mint and a sweet touch of honey. N: Bread, phenolic heavy sweet. P: Surprising aromatic, manageable spice that mangles within a tumult of sweet and spice. Heavy, as in fast food. A: Wood spice…zzz.
Amazing. I love all of Woodford whiskeys, they've never disappointed me neither my friends. Also I would like to express my appreciation for an amazing Customers Service Team at Master of Malt.
Raisins, cherry and vanilla on the nose. As some have said a weaker feel on the front mouth, but this turns into a beautiful honey finish in the back of the throat. Surprising alcohol content (45.2) for something this smooth. Drinking a litre bottle from batch 6. 4.5 stars.
For what it is it’s too expensive, it tastes too young and unbalanced. It could have spent a little more time to meld the flavours together, it all a bit separate.
Amazing
