Wolfburn 7 Year Old Cask Strength - 2023 Release
From the Wolfburn distillery, all the way up in Thurso (the very, very north of Scotland) comes the annual release of its cask strength Scotch whisky. A single malt spent seven years ageing in oloroso and bourbon quarter casks, adding big flavour in a short amount of time, a profile that is bolstered by the 56.9% ABV bottling strength.

Nose
Oily nuts, soft smoke, earthy vanilla, and cinnamon.
Palate
Red berry sweetness tempered by black pepper, latte, earthy smoke, and floral honey.
Finish
Dried fruit and rich spice.
