Wild Turkey
A lower strength bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at 81 proof (40.5% abv) and created by the associate distiller Eddie Russell, the son of master distiller Jimmy Russell. This has a high rye content in the mash bill and is aged in casks with a heavy char - the result of which is huge flavour and complexity without the same heat as the 101 proof.

In my opinion, Wild Turkey 81% bourbon has a more smoother taste and for that reason. Wild Turkey 81 Bourbon wins hands down. So if you wish to have a pleasant evening.. Buy Wild Turkey 81 Bourbon
It's been awhile since I drank 101 but decided to go for this after reading a review. This is not a watered down version of 101 but a animal in irs own like. I was surprised and after reading why it's been given extra flavour by charring unlike beast 101 it'll still kick you in the balls!
Strange, but I actually prefer this to the 101. There are a lot of similarities between the two and whilst this may not have the complecity of 101, it is smmoth. Parma violets and sweet fruit on the nose, golden clarity in the mouth with a decent sweet finish.

A beautifully smooth whiskey, perfect for sipping
