Wire Works Caduro X 70cl Whisky

Wire Works Caduro X celebrates the 10th anniversary of White Peak Distillery. Not just where it is today, but everything that’s shaped the brand along the way. Like its namesake Caduro (from the Wire Works Provenance Core range), the whisky is a vatting of first-fill bourbon barrels and signature STR casks. For Caduro X, Wire Works worked with both its ‘regular-cut’ and ‘alt-cut’ single malts, using the alternate distillation cut-points to lean into a brighter profile, carrying a tropical fruit character and a subtle uptick in peat. To add further depth, the brand then used ‘special waters’ to proof the whisky down to bottling strength. We appreciate the creativity and intrigue. Cheers to a decade of White Peak!
