Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Rock pools and dry peat smoke with tropical fruit sweetness.

Palate Dried apricot, cured meat, citrus, and aromatic spice join more smoke and sea.

Proper winter warmer this one!
A decent little pub next to the Edinburgh playhouse was serving, festive hot apple drinks with either whisky, brandy or rum. I went for the whisky one. My word the drink was exceptional. Just what you need after a show on a cold December night before Christmas. I asked what whisky was in the drink. It was this. So tried it in its own. Every bit as excellent highly recommend, ended up having a quiet a few. Great memories were had. Just need to the recipe for the hot apple drink now.
