“Was given the initial bottle a a gift, it didn't last too long. Very smooth, full of flavour and a very comfortable lingering warmth to finish for those cold autumn/winter evenings. What's not to like? ”

Description
Single malt whiskey from Ireland matured in first fill bourbon barrels. It's supposedly non-chill filtered at 40% abv, so don't be surprised if it throws a cloudy haze in the bottle even at room temperature. (Don't worry though - that just means all the good stuff has been left in!)
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Green apple, subtle stone fruit, nougat and vanilla.
Palate
Less fruity, plenty of malt and a solid core of rich caramel.
Finish
Long and warming with gentle spice and a hint of milk chocolate.
Overall
A great bottling of Irish single malt.
