From the Armorik distillery in Brittany, this French single malt spent five years maturing between 2013 and 2019. Maturing in what, you ask? In a barrel that previously held sauternes! Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Gentle and rounded, with sweet, biscuity malt, chantilly cream, and fresh vanilla joined by plenty of buttery patisserie notes and burnt sugar.

Palate Soft layers of creamy grist and oaken vanilla are joined by slightly savoury woody notes, while peach and apricot bring elegant, floral fruit character.

Finish Buttery fudge, toasted oak, a touch of nutmeg, and spiced, poached apples in fresh, flaky pastry.
