    Tullibardine Sovereign

Adorned with golden detailing, Tullibardine Sovereign is a delicious creamy single malt which was aged in first-fill bourbon barrels before bottling. Expect plenty of vanilla and spice from this Highland Dram.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Soft vanilla and cocoa butter on the nose. White chocolate, allspice and charred oak.

    Palate

A little mixed peel with notes of pear cider, allspice and creamy chocolate. A core of rich malt with hints of maple syrup.

    Finish

Spiced, creamy finish. Plenty of vanilla and cinnamon.

    Overall

A creamy whisky from some truly delicious casks!

How NAS whiskies should be done

High quality malt, very enjoyable. It's certainly made me want to explore the rest of the range.

    An okay whisky

As mentioned before, this is an okay (or average) whisky. It is indeed nothing special, but at the same time it is easy to like. You shouldn't feel embarrassed to give this to a esteemed whisky-friend, but don't expect a 'wow'-reaction from his side. All the tasting note above are spot-on, but I would like to add that there's a nice glow afterwards, which makes this whisky very enjoyable. Yet, at the same time I am very aware of the fact that there are far better whiskies in this price range, hence the fact I call it an okay whisky. It is good, but nothing too special. H. It's fine but nothing special.

Good if you like your whisky spirit driven. Not that much cask involvement going on here good clean cereal nose, a little bland on the palate - touch of pear? touch of something grassy? creamy vanilla finish.

    Audrius

Smells of toffees and stacking up hay into the barn in your childhood. Bread, cereal aromas, irony notes of scythe. Similar to Deanston and Monkey Shoulder. Mouth is tangy and hot, lemon tea & ginger, butterscotch.

    Another Hurried Marketing Ploy!

Descriptions! Looking at the reviews of malts generally and this one in particular it seems almost everyone is now versed in the business of supplying ever increasingly complex descriptions. These make it appear that everyone has become an expert dram taster and master of the dictionary! Whilst I perhaps don't have this command or knowledge I do know what I like and how it tastes. Therefore my considered opinion of this product is that it tastes like shit!
