This single malt from the Tullibardine Distillery began its life in June 2007, before spending the next 11 years in a pair of bourbon barrels. After over a decade had passed and March 2019 came around, the Highlander was bottled at 46% ABV for Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted granola with a touch of vanilla pod, orange chocolate and rich maple syrup.
Palate
Honeyed citrus peel, buttery croissant and a good helping of oak and pepper spice.
Finish
Scones and fruit jam, bitter citrus peel and another drizzle of honey.
