This will be a welcome sight to Tomatin fans - the first batch of their 36 year old single malt Scotch whisky, unveiled in mid-2015. This well-aged expression was distilled in 1977 and matured in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks until March 2015, when it was bottled at 46% ABV. Look out for masses of milk chocolate, oak-y spice and subtle orchard fruit notes in this top-notch Highland dram. This release was limited to just 800 bottles.

The best Tomatin i ever had, even compared to other lengendary bottlings from the famous 60ies and 70ies. Outstanding balance of Sherry and Bourbon influence.... The release price has almost to be described as "bang for a buck" if you consider the outstanding quality !!!
I think this may be one of the very best whiskies I have ever tasted. It is very unique, even better than HP 25 which was my favourite whisky until now.
The best I 've ever tasted from Tomatin.
