Tomatin 27 Year Old 1988 - Batch 3
The third batch of Tomatin 1988 aged for 27 years, including a portion of the whisky maturing in first-fill Tawny Port casks. This follows on from a pair of rather fantastic batches (check out Batch 1 and Batch 2). Batch 3's bottles are in line with Tomatin's new bottle shape, and it comes with a stylish case, too!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Caramel sauce on vanilla ice cream, honey, some smoky embers.
Palate
Fizzy strawberry laces, crystallised ginger, chocolate éclairs and hearty barley.
Finish
Melon, cardamom and a little cinnamon spice.
