Tobermory 23yo 1995 #1201 Bottling Note

A limited edition Tobermory single malt, distilled on the Isle of Mull in July 1995. After a long 23 years of ageing, the whisky was bottled at 54.2% ABV in December 2018 by The Single Cask, with an outturn of 161 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Salted butter, caramel and earthy malt, seaside aromas alongside citrus peel and a hint of char.

Palate: Oily walnut alongside fresh fruit, namely apple and melon, with a sprinkle of sea salt on buttered rye bread.

Finish: Dried fruit sweetness, chewy gingerbread and toffee apple on a sweet and malty finish.
