Released in early 2019, this 12 year old single malt from Tobermory was launched in celebration of the distillery returning to life after a two year break! This expression slumbered peacefully in American oak casks for a dozen years before being bottled at 46.3% ABV. What a way to get back in the swing of things!
Pear, peach and apple, with a dusting of brown sugar. Greek yogurt, barley and a hint of cinnamon pastries.
Rounded malt notes once again, now a touch oily. Still packs a hearty helping of stone fruit sweetness.
A flash of orange peel, soft sawdust, toffee and dates.

I got this on a great MoM promo price last week, and am well happy with it. It's well balanced, has a fair bit in there to keep you interested, and far too easy to drink. It's doubtful it will be the last bottle i buy

Bought this at a discount and i have to say what a great buy this is. Suiting all occasions: sometimes you want just want to have a wee dram without analyzing too much, a crowd pleaser as well. Bottled above 46% and NCF, a respectable island malt.
I bought a tobermory 12 year old on Wednesday had never tried before & it is absolutely gorgeous, wonderful flavours and scented perfect. I will be buying this again.
