Aged in remade refill hogsheads and distilled at the Tobermory distillery in 1994, this is a peated "Ledaig" described by bottlers Gordon and MacPhail as having a "subtle, sweet and smooth" style.
Herbal, aromatic nose with hints of mixed spices, creamy custard and a little smoke.
The palate offers up notes of pear drops, allspice, toffee apples and chocolate-coated Brazil nuts.
Sweet, spiced finish. Perfume-like with fruit lingering.
Sweet and smooth, just as described.
