Indie Ledaig, bottled by Kingsbury! This peaty drop was distilled by Tobermory in 1997 and left to mature in a hogshead cask for 19 years, before being bottled at cask strength. 288 bottles were produced.
Walnut, pecan and smoked paprika. A touch of coastal sage, too.
Sweetness ramps up on the palate with vanilla and Toffee Crisp bars, but the smokiness manages to stay at the fore.
A hint of caraway lingers on the finish.
