A cracking peated single malt from Tobermory, this 12-year-old Ledaig was distilled in 2007 and matured in a single ex-bourbon cask until 2022. Independently bottled by House of Macduff, a total of 261 bottles were released for The Golden Cask series.
Sweet heather, smouldering earthy smoke, zesty citrus peels and petrichor minerality.
Vegetal peat, a touch nutty with spiced fruit, toasted oak, earthy, drying, peppery smoke.
Clove and liquorice pick up, some dark cherry notes balance rich, roasty barley and bold black pepper.
