A fabulous peated expression from the Tobermory distillery on the isle of Mull, released under the Ledaig name and independently bottled by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers collection. Distilled in March 2010, the whisky had eleven years of rest, including a finish in a virgin oak cask, until it was bottled in June 2021, with a total of 279 bottles produced.
Vegetal peat and soft smoke, nut oil, a waft of sea breeze.
Charred oak, earthy, dry peat, smoked salt, and cocoa.
Dried fruit counters smoky ash and peppery spice.
