Wine Cask
A mystery malt from the Campbeltown region of Scotland, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022. Made up predominantly of single malt from an undisclosed distillery, combined with just a small amount of whisky from another, the blend was matured in American oak, before finishing off in a single Banyuls dessert wine barrique. The source remains a secret, which should make for an exciting guessing game for all the Campbeltown experts out there! Released by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice series, with a total outturn of 372 bottles.
Tropical fruits, buttery fudge with floral vanilla and peach.
Zesty malt, creamy oak with a touch of apricot jam. Salted caramel softens a prickle of ginger and spice.
Cakey spice increases, with flamed pineapple, salted chocolate, and peppery prickles of rich, roasted barley.
