This is a great bottle of Scotch !
Bitchen bottle of smoothness!! I normally get the 18, this is very very drinkable. I will still buy the 18, but if this is next to it, it would be a hard choice.
Instead of a few drops of water to be added to bring out its hidden flavor, I just add 1 small ice cube to 3 ounces, swirl in a Scotch glass, sit back on the couch, watch the sunset and love every sip. Truly satisfying.
Hello there! The Speyside region is geographically located within the Highlands (see: http://www.scotch-whisky.org.uk/understanding-scotch/whisky-regions-tours/), which means that legally they can call themselves a Highland whisky. It's rather confusing, but legal, and the Macallan (along with Glenfarclas) are very much Speyside whiskies. --The Chaps at Master of Malt
