Macallan 2005 Speymalt Bottling Note

Here we have Gordon & MacPhail's 2019 bottling of its wonderful Speymalt range! The Macallan single malt was distilled in 2005, and matured in sherry casks until 2019. Then, the wonderful Gordon & MacPhail bottled it up at 43% ABV. Sherried Macallan is always a winner in our book.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Waxy peels, with caramel digestives and ripe banana.

Palate: Oily orange peel, with smooth praline, pears and chocolate sauce.

Finish: Black pepper is tempered by creamy milk chocolate.
