“Super and sensational, creamy in the mouth, sweet taste of dried fruits, bittersweet of sugary citrus orange peel and nicely warming spices of nutmeg and cinnamon which given a medium long finish. After the third drinks in the week the taste hanging much longer than expected. ”

Description
It's the fifth release in The Lakes Whiskymaker's Reserve series, offering up a spectacular taste of excellent English single malt. Decidedly sherried in style, with a refined elegance to it, this expression is most marvellous indeed. It was drawn from a combination of Pedro Ximénez sherry, Oloroso sherry, and red wine casks, and has been bottled up at 52% ABV. Delish!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cherry Bakewells, dried fruit, old oak furniture, and a touch of pecan.
Palate
Coffee cake, cinnamon, rich red wine, a hint of tangy tropical fruit giving it some lift.
Finish
Toasted brown sugar and cassia, plus mahogany warmth lasting.
