A 25 year old from The Glenlivet, finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
Rich. There are notes of chewy sultanas and morello cherry; dried herbs and cooked fruits with apple crumble and a balanced acidity; crème de cacao.
Thick and smooth. There are notes of Sherried peels and sultanas; chewy toffee and walnut; dried fruits emerge with a juicy touch.
Long and rich with winter spice.

I actually won a bottle of XXV at a silent auction. Got it for half the price. Saved it until my 25th wedding anniversary then promptly drank the whole dam bottle. Did share one or two with my neighbor but kept most for myself. Great whiskey.
WOW!,,my great wife got this for me for my 60th birthday. I was so impressed with the aroma as soon as the cork was released from the beautiful bottle. It was just wonderful as my friends says its the finest single to date we have experienced .
Is this much better than a 21 year old? Wanted to buy the 60 year old whiskey but cannot afford the prices.

Over the years of trying single malts and finding the relaxation of enjoying different scotch I've come to the conclusion that my wife must really live me to purchase This XXV for me at Christmas. Wonderful body of full flavor with a great Finish. So smooth and rich, will enjoy this throughout the year.
