The Glenlivet
Scotland
Single Malt

A 25 year old from The Glenlivet, finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
Rich. There are notes of chewy sultanas and morello cherry; dried herbs and cooked fruits with apple crumble and a balanced acidity; crème de cacao.
Thick and smooth. There are notes of Sherried peels and sultanas; chewy toffee and walnut; dried fruits emerge with a juicy touch.
Long and rich with winter spice.

Amazing.
The XXV is my latest big disappointment, the nose and palate are complex and at this point you feel "That's what I'm talking about" And it is gone. No Finish, nothing. Like nothing happened. I had it at a tastingbefore I opened the bottle I had bought, fortunately so I can return it because it absolutely not Worth the value. You would better go with the Dalmore Alexander King or Bunnahabhain 25 Year Old 1990 at this price point and if you are a Glenlivet fan, stick with the 18, still one of the best value on the market. Wish you a good day from Montréal.
This doesn't taste like anything else on the market. Super complex with hints of tropical fruits and so many layers of flavor your pallet won't know what hit it. Beautiful bottle...
Good solid whiskey, very rich and complex. A bit pricey
I am a huge Glenlivet fan. Although I drink many different named brand of single malt scotch, I found Glenlivet to be my favorite. So I bought my 1st bottle of XXV. Can't wait to try it. I'm sure I'll be pleased. Love the price.
