This 11 year old Glenlivet was distilled in 2007 and laid to rest in a single first-fill sherry butt. After just over a decade had passed, the single malt was bottled in February 2019 by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. You can't go wrong with a classic sherried Speysider.
Sticky cinnamon buns and lots of dried fruit, with plum compote and a hint of fresh grass.
An almost oily mouthfeel, with rich treacle, spiced dark chocolate, sultana, fresh red berries and barley sugar, with candied orange peel.
A spicy finish, with lots of warming oak and peppery spice lingering alongside dark red fruits.
