Glasgow 1770 Passito Di Caluso is a five-year-old peated single malt, double distilled and matured for 3 years and 8 months in first fill Wild Turkey bourbon barrels before finishing for 1 year and 8 months in Passito di Caluso dessert wine casks from Piedmont, Italy. Bottled at a robust 57.8% ABV, this two-cask marriage combines mainland peat smoke with the rich, sweet influence of dried Erbaluce grapes. Limited to 690 bottles.
Coastal salinity and soft peat smoke, with waxy lemon rind, dried hay, and hints of apricot and polished wood.
Dried apricot, maritime brine, and rolling peat smoke, supported by caramel and spice.
Baked banana, candied ginger, mineral smoke, and lingering waxy depth.
