16-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Deveron range, which is the name that Macduff uses for its official bottlings. This was originally released for the Travel Retail market.
Orchard fruits arrive first on the nose, followed by robust notes of golden barley.
More chewy cereal notes and green apple, soon joined by an elegant, subtle hint of peat smoke.
Lasting oak-y, peaty warm elements.

Not as smooth or rounded as you would expect for this age of Whisky. Also agree with the previous review that a splash of water doesn't really help. 15yo Glenlivet better in my opinion.
Lovely smooth whisky with lots of fruity aroma and taste. Apples, pears and hints of cherries. Bit smokies have Benin present in the middle with estrone oak an vanilla aftertaste. Very enjoyable drop ?
Disappointment for an 16 years old. Very harsh and sharp taste.
Lovely smooth finish
I was expecting more from this 16 YO. It was just harsh on my tongue... even after adding a splash of water.
