Nose Cooking apples, toasted almonds and thick slabs of toffee fudge blend with warm gingerbread, marmalade and a hint of marzipan. Oak char, cooking oil and chalk add to the complexity, alongside dried fruit, tea leaves, rosewater and eucalyptus oils.
Palate Waxy, sweet and rich, the palate has Digestive biscuits, juicy malt and lemon peel at its core, with tropical fruit chunks, apricot yoghurt, salted caramel, milky coffee and winter spice in support.
Finish Dried herbs add a medical quality to long and delicate finish which also has saddle leather, damp earth and exotic fruit.
