A mysterious single malt from Islay, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. This one is a 10 year old expression, boasting lots of peaty notes all the way throughout. You don't even have to dig very far to find them - unlike the team on the label, who are deep in a coal mine and about to find a giant clove of garlic. What could this all mean...?

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Earthy smoke with a whiff of coastal air mixed in, joined by salted butter on crumpets and a touch of dried fruit.
Palate
Bright notes of pineapple and tinned peaches arrive first, before savoury rye spiciness builds up.
Finish
More rye, now paired with peat heat and caraway.
