That Boutique-y Whisky Company has been in the indie bottling business for over a decade, bringing us spectacular single-cask, small-batch, limited-edition whiskies. Now it has a growing core range of utterly delicious whiskies, all in 700ml bottles, and this one has a fluffy English Longhorn cow on the label!
It's an English rye whisky (a category that those Boutique-y folks have been advocating since they started out), and it's packed with distinctive layers of fruit and spice, marzipan, vanilla, fudge, and black peppercorns. Now we can all enjoy it until the cows come home.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends, all adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels. The brand won Spirits Bottler of the Year at the 2023 Spirits Business Awards, and Blender of the Year went to Sam Simmons, captain of the Boutique-y clan who oversees every one of these releases.
